wunoff or simpson?

I need to buy an exhaust can for my Saab turbo build, is the simpson can better than the wunoff one?

The wunoff is 6" and £200 + VAT + Delivery

and the Simpson is 7" £275 + VAT + Delivery

Is the Simpson can worth the extra money?

both will be very good quality so it comes down to if you want to pay £75 + vat for the extra 1"

Used both; and would be happy to use both again.

Any after sales help/ fixes might be easier with wunoff only being a short trek up North....rather than Simpson deep south near that there London

both very good but Ive noticed wunnoffs to be quieter on the cars Ive seen noise tested at trackdays    

the one on my car is a 7" made by a local guy that was £200 all in

Be aware that the heat of the turbo "can" burn out the damping material inside the silencer, the gases has a very short way to travel from the turbo to the silencer compared to a normal car.  I´m using a Jetex universal silencer (round) 2,5" in/out.  No "bling" but  cheap!

Just cover it up with a heat shield or similar

Bought and fitted a wunoff silencer this winter. Seems to be a good quality item and the service was excellent. Made up a template of the link pipe posted it, the next day John rings up tells me it came that morning and is made and ready to post back. Fitted perfectly too.
