Crazy Eddie Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Seeing as the car is constantly turning up to Trackdays dirtier than it leaves them I have been thinking of going down the covered trailer route. Seen the BJ Minno Shuttle that looks excellent because it fits in a garage away from pikies! However has anyone ever had one and how did the get on with it because from the looks of them I would have to wheel the whole trailer out of the garage every time I wanted to get the car out of it to go for a drive? Other options that would fit in garage? Other than the "make your own cover because that is above and behond my skills Cheers Eddie Quote
davidgh Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Eddie Got myself a Shuttle about three months ago. The thing tows beautifully, as you would expect from a BJ. It's not constructed to Audi standards, but reasonably robust. You definitely cannot get your car on and off within a normal garage -- with the rear door fully open it's more than 10 feet high. The prospect of high winds caused me some concern at first, but I've used it in some pretty poor weather lately and (so far) it's stood up well. Good news is that the car really does stay snug, dry and clean. HTH Quote

Asterix Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Eddie, get to croft on 24/3...there's bound to be a couple there then. If JC trailers his on the 9/3, there'll definitely be 1 there then. If you find any you don't want, send them my way will ya. Quote
JeffC Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 mines the sprint shuttle and It tows no worse than my a max mpg doesnt seem any worse (still s***e ) and its handy having somewhere to sit for a brew when its raining not getting why you would need to take it out yer garage to get yer car out are the rear doors different on a minno shuttle to a sprint? the doors on mine are split in the middle and drop down and become the ramp Quote
