As it says.

WHY...

:t-up:

ETA: Not after anything flash, just a cheap 130ps motor.

Hello,

Just saw your post, are you looking for a used Zetec that you can work on or something newer ??.

The reason I ask is that I was thinking of putting an add together for a number of parts that I have.

These include a new Black Top Zetec.Type 9,Extension & quick shift.RS 2000 Bell Housing,Alloy sump and a few other bits.

Regards,Tom.

Tom. if the bellhousing is alloy i would be interested, possibly the type 9 as well, sorry to butt in on your thread Martin.

Martin,

I should have one for sale soon, it is a 1.8, but it is not originally a 130ps motor.

I'll include the flywheel and 2lt cams, but you will need a sump, inlet/exhaust manifold, ECU/loom, thermostat housing and to probbaly the coil pack....can't remember if the new one has on fitted.

THis engine was on 45's and recorded 155bhp on the rollers in feb 2007. Still in the car and can be witnessed hooning around tomorrow.

I also have a clutch, starter and a few other bits and bobs you will need.

Let me know and it's yours.

Chaz.

Oh... Sounds exactly what I'm after mate. How much do you want for it?

ETA: What's replacing it then?

It's not going in until next winter. The plan is to get an engine and associated hardware during the year. Get in in the car early next closed season, flog the X/Flow and use the funds from the X/Flow to pay for a portion of the TB's and ECU...

In Theory, christ knows what will actually happen!

And I thought you were a diehard x/flow fanatic. Ian.

I am, it's just not damn fast enough... and to build a suitably fast X/Flow will leave no change from £3k, without the fuel injection...

I've got a lovely little pinto for sale that would be a big improvement on the Xflow and knock the socks of a zetec :p  And a type 9 etc etc

Not really though that far ahead at the moment, but it is being replaced with another 1.8zetec. THis one has a ballanced bottom end and a worked on head. This is why i need a few of the bits from the current engine to swap to the new one. Just not sure exactly how many bits yet.

Let me get the engines swaped and then we can discuss price/and make arangements.
