The car was totally stripped and rebuilt through the winter of 04-05 being completely re-wired and lightened by over 30kg’s – it was sprinted in the 2005 Westfield Speed Series at 5x events. Since then it has been garaged, with little use, hence for sale

Interior -

Carbon dash with FIA switch

Stack ST400 tacho

SPA Digital speedo

VDO oil pressure and water temp

LED warning lights on carbon mount

Carbon tunnel cover

Momo suede steering wheel and gear knob

PKM R500 seats in black GRP with 4 point harnesses

RAC Rollbar

Engine –

2.0 VX XE with twin Webber 45’s recently rebuilt with all new parts inc.

Highly developed polished and ported head

Farndon steel rods

Accralite forged pistons

ARP’s, ACL bearings, timing belt kit, oil + water pump

Millers oil with Prolong engine treatment

Moroso accusump

MBE ECU

Odyssey dry-cell battery

SBD high level 4-1 exhaust manifold with SBD stainless can (repacked) and carbon cover

Engine work completed by Stanwood Performance Engines

Carbs balanced and setup by Chatsworth Motor Spares (Weber specialists for 30 years+)

Run in and dyno’d by Noble Motorsport

Transmission -

4 speed Tran X SCCR box with 2.04 long ratio 1st

4.1:1 CWP and 7” Cosworth LSD

AP Racing 7.25” clutch cover and twin paddle plate

Suspension -

AVO Shocks and springs

PKM Front ARB

Rear ARB

Cat wide-track front wishbones

All suspension, ride and geometry setup by Tranzpower (vast experience in race setup and support for Caterhams, Westfields and Radicals)

Front and rear carbon diffusers

Flat bottom

Detachable extra-wide rear arches

Brakes –

Ford calipers with EBC Greenstuff pads

Lightweight aluminium drilled discs

Lightweight aluminium hubs

Wheels and tyres –

Image 8x13 and 10x13 split rims with Avon A40 slicks (completed 5x sprints)

Ford Alleycat 7x13 (newly powder coated by Cat Motorsport) with Michelin F3 slicks (used as track day slicks)

TSW 7x15 with 205/50 x 15 Colway Formula 2 road legal moulded slicks (road/track day use)

Previous owner won ASWMC championship in 2002 and 2003, with many class wins and FTD’s. Through 2004 and 2005 I’ve won numerous class awards, competing in the Westfield Speed Series

This car is a high spec and competitive sprint/hill-climb or track day car and is being reluctantly sold because I don’t have sufficient time to do the car justice

Hell of a car. Had the pleasure of riding shoot gun in it at that 750MC Silverstone thing. Worth every penny.

That’s a lot of car for not a lot of £££.

I recon this car would be competitive in Class H and could possibly win Class F.... :suspect:

It'll be nice to see the car out & about again, shame it's not with you behind the wheel  :(

Thanks for the positive comments guys

No immediate replacement in mind Martin - simply a case of letting someone else enjoy, as I am too busy. Fancy an Ultima and/or some competitive motorsport in the future, just not an option at the moment

Not quite as quick in a straight line as Peter H's or the Flymo (although I did beat Tommo a couple of times  :D ), but well competitive in Class F or H like you say Andy - and almost half the price !!

Hope to see you guys at some events through 2008

:p Oh my god........ if only. Got to be a lottery win on weds and I'll be back. It would be so good to move on from class C and the old sparring partner bamber to play with the big boys so to speak!
