boris Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I would suggest whilton mill as a very good allround venue as they also offer things like off road karting in those buggy type things, clay pigeon shooting etc etc. The track has recently been made even better with the addition of some more infield twisties and less single line sections. I cannot comment on the condition of their hire karts but get round there (or any other outdoor venue for that matter) in a thunderkart if you have the choice, it will be worth it! Daytona at Milton Keynes, as Gee_fin has already said is top notch. The track has everything you could possibly want, the staff on the whole know what they are doing and do it well and the karts, in my experience, have always been well maintained. At both the above tracks there are bar facilities to relax in afterwards and both are easy to find if your not local Buckmore is my personal favorite track in the whole of the UK, i could rant on for ages about why but i'll save you from that. Buckmore has very good facilities, easily comparable to Daytona and Whilton Mill BUT its a long way away from where you said you wanted to be Quote
