zoso Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Just agreed to do the Ramshackle rally (Calais - Krakow)... Anyone else done something as daft as this? Anyone got a good car they want to sell for slightly less that £100!!!! Must seat 3 and be easily converted into a pub... Quote
Cam Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Did the Crumball rally last year and it was a total hoot. Four of us in a Vauxhall Calibra so it was a bit cramped. Looked a doing the Krakow run but couldn't fit it in this year, the run looks interesting................best of luck Quote
emma.1 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Beat me to it Cam! Was just going to say that!! Was a real hoot tho................specially watching the italians telling us we were on fire in Turin! Quote
BuGsBuNnY Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Crumball veteran here as well :-) Our car didn't last long but we finished the rally. Pub theme sounds like a splendid idea ol' chap! Quote
Blatman Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 QUOTE Anyone got a good car they want to sell for slightly less that £100!!!! Must seat 3 and be easily converted into a pub... Maybe... got a ****ter of an F reg Mk3 Escrot diesel to shift. Needs a new alternator and it'll drive away as it has tax (8 months) and MOT. Paint is faded (red) down one side and various bits of minor lecky things don't work (interior light, rear wiper and stuff). On the plus side, it's got a genuine 45,000 miles on it, and it's one owner (my dad) from new. It'll be going on the 'Bay when I get a moment, but if you want it... Quote
Blatman Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 ****ter gets past the swear filter then Quote

Will let you know, i've joined a team with some mates and it's a group thing... We're going for beer and discussion this friday. It's not an estate is it? That could be made into a pub for sure... dombanks Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 oh i would love to do something like this, why dont we on here get a westy equivlent, like a gumball for sevens? or just an organised blatting/camping/drinking drive on the continent. i voulanteer the swimbo to drive the frontera/trialer as a pit car/beer based refreshment vendor (she'll come round by the summer) Quote
windy Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I'm entered in the crumball again, work mates this time & we already have a car, bit more classy this year. I'd reccommend the crumball to anyone. Descending on Monaco & watching the rich jaw dropped as we pulled up next to a Ferrari Enzo in our snotter was priceless. Quote

Nope, it's a 3 door, so you could make it look like an XR3i. Snazzy... Quote
