Try UMC 19" from Currys.  I bought the step daughter one and it is really good for the price.

We just got an "own brand" (Orion) 19" LCD/DVD/Freeview from Comet for £220.

Not bad - and worth the extra £20 to get the digital tuner built-in.

Edit to add : It's HD ready (with HDMI) and looks exactly like that Wharfedale - except for the badge   ???

Cheers mate think I might get her a stand alone and a cheap DVD to stick underneath

Be careful with wharfedale they ain't that good, its goodmans in disguise. Buying a combi is good for space but is generally more money than seperates.

Try www.flatdeal.com they have some good prices on TV stuff and you may get branded ones for similar money to some of the better non branded.

Be very careful with cheap screen lcd tvs thay have a habit of blowing pixels.

Hope this helps

It Appears a combi is not the way forward ???

Yep, but that's been known since the moment LCD sales started

Just had a quick look on Flatdeal's site.

They have a super 103" Panasonic at a superb low price of £49,999.00. What a bargain.

Watching lotto b4 I commit to buy.

I've heard combi's can get a bit hot and dont tend to last. Indeed my sis has one and the DVD has stopped working. I'd go for seperates.
