Can someone explain to me how a dry sump pump works please?

I have a 3 stage pump as pictured below, particularly want to know which connections go where.  Is it basically that oil fed into the bottom ports will be pumped out to the port above or are all 3 linked together?

Leon, what make is that, doesn't look like mine which is a Pace.

Also, what does the other side look like coz I think it may go the other way around (i.e. 3 inlets at the bottom)

Basically it's upside down. The two ports with the push on fittings are the scavenges from the sump pan. These are internally linked so that they exit out of the top rear JIC port to the top of the DS tank. The lower front JIC port takes oil from the bottom of the DS tank, and sends it pressurised out of the top front JIC port to the engine.

Goes like this as far as I know

I know it's a different pump; but sounds like a similar plumbing arrangement to the SBD kit.

Cheers guys, yea I had looked on the SBD site at that pic but wasn't sure if they were all the same.  Got my kit from Turbosport and no instructions provided at all.

Was particularly interested if I could move the connections around but by the sounds of it I cant.  Was trying to make the plumbing a little easier.

Thanks for the info chaps :)
