I would like a pair for the narrow bodied SE but chances are I might be the only one wanting this variant so I doubt if Carbon Mods would be interested in just a one off.

Kevin,

Matt at Carbon Mods recommended balck bathroom sealant if you ever want to get them off again, so I plan to try that. It's not link they're heavy so the sealant won't be working too hard. Use duck tape to hold everything in place while the sealant goes off, and perhaps run a tiny bead around the edge afterwards to tidy / waterproof etc.

Think there's a post on this earlier in the thread somewhere (although the nail gun one is perhaps not the way forward - might catch a tyre! )

Yep, thinking about it Sikaflex is probably a bit OTT.

I'll give that a go.

I think they are making them in batches then once they are ready contacting the next batch of people from the group buy. Onces yours are made they will contact you for payment and delivery address.

They only have one mold so manufacturing may take some time. Worth the wait so I hear  :t-up:

Please could someone post some images of their carbon protectors fitted to their detachable arched Westie. Mine do not seem to be a great fit, but it may be that my rear arches need adjusting.

Thanks Rob
