Come on chaps its not like its life and death now. If you dont like the wait then get something else. They seem to be trying to get a product that they are happy to supply. I am guessing now but don’t think Carbon Mods are a big company so don’t have a huge R&D budget or lots of people to develop the product. Westfields have come in different shapes and sizes over the years and its not always easy to make a product that fits perfectly. I am sure that Carbon Mods would have loved to have sold 30+ bits of carbon to us and had the money in the bank. Give them a break and lots hope the product is worth waiting for. :t-up:

My biggest problem is if it takes any longer I'll need new wheel arches because the stones will have worn them away  ???

Well said Matt    :D

Spoke to Paul today he reckons they should be in production stage in a couple of weeks, sure it will be worth the wait guys  :D  :D

carbon mods was only a small until recently ie paul did the majority of work and his brother working weekends time permitting they have recently taken on somebody else who paul is training. As stated they are doing there best and would have loved 35 plus sets of these to have flown out the door and be perfect but this doesnt always happen .paul told me he was struggling because of workload and having the time to travel to template and take moulds of cars which can be 4-8 hrs he said he could of got it done far sooner with someones car at there place so they could save time and trial fit the parts

Have to say i was very impressed with the Quality of the work on the Carbon Mods stand at Stoneleigh

The Front mud guards looked very nice

Think it'll be worth the wait

I've offered to let them use my car but never had a call. I only live 20 mins away.

I'm taking the V8 over to them on the 16th for them to take the mould for the FW bodywork.

That's great news Steve :).

I have some protection film on at the moment which I applied myself so it's far from perfect :p.

Confidence is building  :D   Just spoke to one of the guys at Carbon Mods, and they'll be an update some day soon.

I for one, saw the quality of the goods at Stoneleigh, and so have that to be confident of. Just waiting for the day they arrive  :D

Not likely to be in time for Curborough though

I also spoke to Paul last week enquiring about guards. He told me that they were busy getting ready to move premises, but they were having a pattern for FW ( must be you Steve) and another member only lived around the corner with a detach arch car. So hopfully production will start very soon       :t-up:

I would have thought  Westfield use several  different sets of moulds for making arches and body panels ?

If so we can surely expect some uniformity problems between type similar cars  :t-up:
