neilwillis Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I was just watching an old episode - hell, what can I say, I was bored! I was amazed at how many lethal looking protrusions they designed into the latest machine. I wonder how they'd get on trying to register one for the UK roads! Quote
karlos Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 They have 2 of their machines in Plymouth's Drake circus shopping center at the moment. I was having a look thinking exactly the same thing, one has a b****y big chrome dagger on the back! Sharp edge sir!?! Quote
neilwillis Posted December 13, 2007 Author Posted December 13, 2007 You mean it wasn't radiused to 2.5mm? Quote
zoso Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 One of their bikes has a spike literally aimed at the riders head on the risers! I like american chopper and i'm not afraid to admit it in public neither! Though the Shelby bike where they revved the A*** off it from cold&new and it blew on the rollers was a bit of a "I can't belive I just saw that" moment! Quote
slippy Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Shelby bike was my all time favourite bike Quote
Carl Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 There are 3 of them in Milton Keynes shopping centre. I'm not into bikes but they really are something special. Quote

Typical, nothing of interest in MK while i'm going to be there, now i'm off for xmas theres something... Any idea how long they are there for? Quote
Pilot Pete Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I think so far the Black Widow bike has been my fave, but I havent watched in a long time. Quote
mr-rad Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 I prefer the choppers that are built by Russell Mitchel at Exile choppers. He's a Brit in America who used to be a TV vet (not that one). The trike he built is drop dead georgous. Quote
DanB Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Hmmmm, I wonder if that trike's predominant handling characteristic would be oversteer or understeer? Quote
MK11 Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Well at least the trike is in the USA, if they ever came accross a corner I suppose the only thing to do would be get off and lift the front round (probably why the front is so light!) Quote
Carl Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 QUOTE Any idea how long they are there for? No idea, I discovered them whilst running about at lunch Christams shopping. Don't even know why they were there. Quote
