Heres a question for you?

Just bought a vehicle that can play MP3 CD's.

Itunes, so i have been told formatts music as MP4, how do i convert MP4 - MP3 or will it play MP4 OK?

Hope this makes sense!

MP4 is a bit of a pain in the  :arse:

There are programs you can get on the Intertubes that will do it, and yes, you'll need it, your MP3 CD player won't handle MP4s.

It rather depends what you want to do.  The problem with having everything as MP3 in your iPod and computer is it makes it impossible to make conventional CDs to play on non-MP3 ready CD players - MP3 files need to be converted to WAV files first.

Personally, I set iTunes to rip everything to WAV format.  When I want to make a MP3 CD, I use Cakewalk Pyro to make duplicate MP3 files, burn them to a CD, then delete the MP3 files from the hard drive, leaving the WAV files.

I use tunebite to convert from MP4s I buy on iTunes to WAV or MP3, but there's lots on the market.

Now my head hurts.  :bangshead:
