i'm planning a 2 week road trip across to zeebrugge - see a friend in belgium - then fancy travelling down thro switzerland - doing lots of alps - touching northern italy - down to monaco gotta do the race track lol - back ome via france..

question is - has anyone any recommendations for accomodation - must see things - best driving routes on the way - i'm hoping to do a day via spa or the ring - dunno yet - will add it to the list of possibles..

I'm in the process of planning a similar route from Bilbao in Spain up along the French boarder then up to lake Como (1300km) a tour round the lake then up to Zebrugge (1200Km)  via Germany Switzerland France & then Belgium. I would be interested in accommodation as well. Altho mine will be the summer of 2009

And IMO any trip through France has to involve a stay at Norm Veronas place :cool:

Just athought tex have a look on google earth thats where I'm provisionally planning my route  you'll get distances some points of interest etc

If you are going down the south of France you've got to do the Millau Bridge is fooooking hugh
