Charge-cooler header tanks

Good evening people,

I am looking for a header tank to complete the bits'n'bobs for my chargecooler install. Therefore, I would be most obliged if anyone who is running a chargecooler could point me in the direction of suitable candidates.

My pump is a Bosch pump and has 19mm push-on fittings.

Thank you,

Neil

PWR say they don't need one because the pre rad is big enough to act as a header tank and / or dissapate all the heat absorbed by the coolant at the rate delivered by the charge air.  The other way of looking at it is the bigger the header tank the better as it will be able to absorb spikes of heat.  It depends on how big the pre rad is.

If its big enough to dissapate the heat from permanent full throttle then you don't need a header tank, if this isn't the case, you need a tank big enough to store the heat generated at full throttle untill you slow down and can get rid of it.  This will depend entirely on the way the car is driven.

Which tank is sutable is entirely down to how much space you have, bigger the better really, you can alway put less water in it.
