With Regards to the Chrimbo meal / party, and the replies to the other recent topic / post it looks like a Manchester City centre was the preferred choice.

Saturday was chosen so we have the option to go have a few beer's before and after for those that wish (like me   )

ALL area’s of WSCC welcome (members and non members alike), anyone wishing to come then let us know by FRIDAY this week (16-11-07) and lets have your £10 deposits so we can get it booked.

E-mails also being sent out for notice.

I am told    the Fantasy Bar is on Deansgate- but if you were to walk out the door of the Little Yang Sing and cross the road then there is a nice bar

Gents,

As there are a few folks that are not keen on Chinese – I have decided to move the meal to another restaurant with normal grub (English / Italian etc) – trust this is o.k with those already given deposits, I will be looking for meals around the same cost as the Chinese.

I will do some phoning around this weekend and intend to make a booking for a table @ 7:30 on 8th December, still somewhere nice in the heart Manchester City centre so you have the option of access to public transport.

Some of us are planning on making a full boozy night out of it by meeting at 50pm for a few beers / pubs beforehand and some will also be hitting more boozers after the meal – so all welcome to join us for this or just the meal – whichever suits.

Although we have 15 confirmed - I have been able to book a table for 20 so if anyone wants to be added then let me know SOON.

7:30 Table - Christmas Menu ONLY i'm afraid - I did ask a few restaurants and they will only do the set Christmas menu's in this period ( Clicky )

Those of you joining us at 5.00pm then I suggest meeting at the Brunswick Pub which is halfway between Piccadilly Train Station and Piccadilly Gardens Clicky for Brunswick Web page - WARNING this will be a boozy pub crawl making our way over to Grinch so expect some supping
