I booked my daughter onto the Andy Wesley course at Millbrook and it was very good indeed. He concentrates on preventing skids in the first place rather than how to control them.

Excellent driver education, but not ideal if you just want to hoon around!

You can do the hooning if you want.

Most worrying thing I learned was that you don't want a car with ABS if it goes very wrong because no matter what you you do with the brake pedal the car is just going down the road spinning like a top & will go in any direction, completely out of control.

Interested in the Millbrook option Windy

I work at Nissan Technical Centre in Cranfield so we've a relationship there anyway (just not in my area of Nissan). I've no doubt I could drum up a load of interest through both WSCC and work if it was possible perhaps to combine a skid training activity with some kind of driver skill training  - perhaps a half day of each.

Can you recommend who to talk to there?

Cheers

Rich
