cast iron Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Ross Your right mate - you need to check that a Helmet from Westgate would be suitable for car competition. Trackdays allow bike helmets, not a lot of other disciplines do. Quote

Is it possible to buy one helmet which can be used in all three disciplines Thanks Ross You need a lid with one of the following: BS6658 Type A BS6658 Type A/FR Snell 2005 Anything else will not be legal for MSA competition use. The most common spec is ECE22, which is the current spec if you are buying a lid from a motorbike shop. ECE22 is not legal for competiton use, but is usually allowed for track days and non competitive karting and the like. Quote
