westy Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 thanks goes to the lady who while driving round a corner decided to use our nice new puma as part of the apex smashing up the back end nicely and pushing it over big rocks some taking out the CC. unluckily for her she was not only drunk when she done the hit and run but she was seen by her neighbours who when they saw our car being recovered stopped and gave details. Also unlucky for her is half of her number plate fell off and was found along with the vin plate - may she burn for this especially for her excuse to her neighbours when caught p******** with her smashed up car for saying 'I hit a post' Quote
Phssthpok Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 A couple of months back the Westicle was parked in a health centre and a person, who was not male, kindly reversed their Montego (spit) estate into the back of my car. They got out, glanced at my shattered number plate, rear light cluster and scratched rear arch, shrugged, clambered back into the Montego and drove off. All this was witnessed by the receptionist who also told me who she was. I popped around to see her and, of course she denied the incident ever took place. When I offered to point out the lumps of my car still sticking in her plastic bumper bar she told me to f**k off and slammed the door. I reported the incident to the police who could not have cared less if they'd tried. I paid her a return visit in the early hours of the following morning and Super-glued all five of the Montego's locks up. Call me childish if you want but, vengence shall be mine sayth the Westfield owner. Quote
Blatman Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 Childish, and illegal! I hope she doesn't read this and report you for criminal damage......... Get the insurance companies to deal with it (being as you have witnesses, and evidence.......), and hit her where it hurts......... No, not there, in the wallet (purse)............. Quote
Phssthpok Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 The woman was not safe to be in a car - if a Montego qualifies as a car - so I was only doing my public duty by disabling such a potentially dangerous vehicle. Besides, when someone utters those magic ‘f*ck off’ words, my desire to embark on 2 years of letter writing with belligerent insurance company underwriters ebbs somewhat. Quote
westy Posted July 28, 2002 Author Posted July 28, 2002 Update: While in the police station giving statements a woman walks and says that her car has been stolen...Mr Plod then reads out the number plate to her and she says 'how did you know that'. He then says it has been seen at 1000 Brick my House Road....'how can that be that’s my sister’s house'........................this is like a f*****n sketch from eastenders However people will be stewing tonight while I sleep soundly the choices are: Shop your sister in for nicking your car - she gets done for hit and run, nicking a car and being drunk Claim it was you driving and get done for hit and run Claim the car was stolen - though that story is slightly let down by the Muppet woman saying that’s my sister’s address. Anyway going to pick up the courtesy car tomorrow my bets on a corsa Quote
Nick M Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 Nowt wrong with Corsas !! Provided you throw everything away apart from the engine !! Quote
russbif Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 many many years ago, whilst camping in spain, the pride of my life, a 2ltr sierra was damaged by a german who creased the door with his towhook, I approached the fellow who basically told me to go and procreat, therefore my sons and I (using our swiss army penknifes) scratched every panel on his car be4 heading home for Angleterre with a song in our hearts. Viva England and sod the wogs Russ Quote
Ian Podmore Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 Can well understand your need to retaliate as I felt the same after a drunk WOMAN driver :A***:ended my company motor. However I did the right thing and reported it to the police.... They managed to assertain that the vehicle was registered at a solicitors address. Their investigations came to a grinding halt . Funny that. Could have asked me for her home address, perhaps that was too hard for them? Waste of time reporting things to the police in my opinion. They are only interested in motoring offences where a speed gun is in use! My confidence in the police remains at the same level Quote

John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 PS- bad luck Mr Westy. If its a write off can I have the engine please? John Quote
Mrs Westy Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 If its a write off can I have the engine please If it's a write off, it will partly be because the large decorative boulders - which were in front of the car when it was parked - had found their way underneath the car with the impact and said engine spent night propped up on said boulders BTW Hairdresser car actually took the lesser impact, only propelling it forwards approx 5 feet (into boulders). A fester parked further up the road took most of the speedy impact. The fester owners also had to work out how to get back, from Oxfordshire, to Newcastle, via Preston Quote
Mrs Westy Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 just found out its going to be a KA I bet you get more sympathy for that than for the poor battered car Quote
westy Posted July 29, 2002 Author Posted July 29, 2002 at least there was some street cred with the puma now the choice is the KA or the silly car Quote
