Guest Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 I'm about to design mine.... i'm thinking: carbon mods dash blank 2 analog race tech dials for oil & fuel pressure a row of 8 trillogy switches under them race technology dash over the wheel FIA cutoff to the very far right + direction label Quote
Darren B Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Did this with mine... Couldn't afford to change to a electronic dash when I got the CF one, so just rearranged the existing gauge pack. Everything is nicely to hand. I like it so to anyone who wants to flame it. Quote
Guest Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 I like Darren's dash, everything is arranged around the driver. The only thing i'd change is the indicator switch - i think that should be on the left hand, like on a bike. VX2's dash makes no sense to me at all, everything seems in the wrong place! Quote
steve_m Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 VX2's dash makes no sense to me at all, everything seems in the wrong place! Now you've done it, he spent days making that dash, it's perfection in his eyes He only posted it to help you and you do this to him Quote
peterg Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 QUOTE everything seems in the wrong place Yep, including the hole for the steering column Carl, the dash VX2 posted was one put on here by a Septic who thought it was 'awesome', several people on here said it wasn't and he took offence big time and threw all his toys out of his pram - I suspect VX2 posted the pic to show you how NOT to do it Quote
bhouse Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Yep, including the hole for the steering column I think he's just mounted all the dials and switches on the back rather than the front. He'll probably realise when he puts it in the car. Quote

stussysoil Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 I could be wrong, but they look like Smiths Telemetrix gauges to me, you can probably find them cheaper elsewhere but: Smiths Telemetrix at DTheives Quote
Darren B Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 They are the Westfield supplied Smiths telemetrix gauges that I had in my contoured dash, less the oil temp gauge. The small ones are in the region of £30 (for just the gauge) and the big ones about £150. People like Merlin motorsport sell them. Quote
