My first season of motor racing

Hi fellow Westy enthusiasts.

I took a big decision this year to go racing with my Megabusa. I chose the 750 Motor Club Road Going Bike-engined series(RGB). I have kept a blog all year. If you are interested you can read it at

 I can sympathise with your cutting out on left handers mine did that too It  took me  thick end of a week to find out what it was , It drove me nuts till I got it sorted

...and then you realised that turning off the ignition mid-corner was a bad idea

Racing is the dogs danglies and well worth pursuing if you have the desire to take it on.  Hopefully my article will make it into the next issue of Westfield World on what it took me to get started in racing, so that it loses some of its mystery.
