evo-mark Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 captain if i knew you were going i would have popped along to say hello will be there tomorrow to witness the atom's first run out and put some pressure on cooper to break the 1:30 lap barrier Quote
JeffC Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 QUOTE put some pressure on cooper to break the 1:30 lap barrier only been trying for 2 1/2 years now .4 of a second off it last time The captain was going very well today in his old pinto lapping 7 seconds faster than the cateringvan csr260 that was dawdling round still say (and I may have mentioned this once before) its about time he had an extra 100 bhp to raise the bar a bit Quote
evo-mark Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 looking at the first and second pic's i'd say both of there times would have been quicker if they weren't towing tintops behind them Jeff with the new set up , fresh good working slicks i think the record will go tomorrow mate i'll be there after dinner by then you will be wanting a 1:28 Quote
Andrew Posted September 15, 2007 Author Posted September 15, 2007 Forgot to mention, Colin's busa died in his last session. Wasn't sure what it was. No oil or smoke, so hoping for just an electrical gremlin. Shrewd move by Colin, taking the sound test man for a ride eh? Think it's called befriending the enemy! Quote

Think it's called befriending the enemy! whats the crack with Cols car then was it turning over ok etc I think it died on track. Turns over but doesn't fire, hopefully its just electrical. Col didn't seem too phased, that engines done millions of trackdays, so he wasn't suprised if its finally expired. Quote
Andrew Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 A couple of laps on board HERE Note lack of oil light flickering! Quote
