Bean Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I went along to their meet on Sunday, excellent turnout with fine weather. Pistonheads had taken over half the carpark at Virginia Waters, parking was free for 90 minutes. Saw a few Westfields there, most people were crowded around the Enzo. Excuse the quality, it was a sunny day and I only had my camera phone. Quote
skOOby Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Aye, was there with some of the Thames Valley lot. Certainly some nice machinery there! Queue to get out was a pain - but had a good blat there and back! skOOby Quote
Bean Posted September 11, 2007 Author Posted September 11, 2007 I was parked by the entrance on my lonesome, white narrow body. Quote
skOOby Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Ah - wondered if the car belonged to anyone on here. We where the three in your second to last pic skOOby Quote
Bean Posted September 11, 2007 Author Posted September 11, 2007 Yup, only four at the meet. I take it you didn't see the WSCC sticker on the back of my car Quote
Phil. S Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 What a nice way to spend a Sunday morning! Lovely weather and great to see Anthony, Paul, Steve, and Will again. Some very nice machinery on display. It was fun following the Thames Valley boys back, though I split off at Bracknell to get back for the Italian GP. I have a few pics, but my son was on camera duty so I ended up with lots of pictures of TVRs. Here's a few pics anyway. A very organic looking TVR engine bay. A McLaren 7 (not sure what type of 7 this is) Aero 8 My ickle Elise And a fuzzy picture of the drive back Quote
WilliamB Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 - but had a good blat there and back! skOOby Indeed it was and here's a clip of skOOby, Steve and myself doing some of that blatting. Have to say highlights for me were seeing both Paul and Steve catching some air over a raised bridge, s***ting the life out of Phil in his Elise by giving a beep as I went past and then seeing the large turnout of other Westies when we got back to the Bird.
