windy Posted September 9, 2007 Author Posted September 9, 2007 The SBD boys & girls cleaned up in their class with some impressive 10 second runs in the 2 westies. Quote

Matt Seabrook Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I had to laugh when i saw this creation That has to be either very Fast of painfully slow to be able to get away with the look Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 The SBD boys & girls cleaned up in their class with some impressive 10 second runs in the 2 westies. Staggering how they can get a sprint Westfield to do 10 second 1/4 miles I would be pleased to do 11 second runs let alone 10`s Quote
Asterix Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 And Tommo testing out the strength of his engine That's one's begging for a caption... "Tommo becomes one of the first Westfield sprinters to experiment with renewable sources of energy." Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Great pics Windy - and what a superb day it was, wasn't it? I felt sorry for the bloke with the bike that spewed nuts and bolts everywhere a few yards short of the finish line though. From the dark Side: look for the last post but two - edmandsd Quote
skids Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Cheers Windy and thanks for your help ,Broughtons crap at pit crew. That day made the hair on me neck stand on end Quote
V 8 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Great pics Windy, thanks for the pushes to & from the start, the clutch really appreciated it Managed an 11.4 with a terminal speed of 128 and a 64 ft time of 2.1. Not sure there was any more to come!! The SBD cars have more power to weight, but I reckon the torque in the Flymo takes over towards the end. Pity it wasnt a standing 1/2 mile Quote
skids Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Tommo just behave, you were to slow and thats all there is to it Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Tommo, Just what are you doing exactly standing on your engine? Quote
