A quick update, and with only three timewasters so far, a hope for some genuine interest. Needless to say, neither of the cars have a roof, Westfield do not currently offer the GSX-R1000 engine as a factory car. Please note that one car is yellow, one is orange, this really does mean that neither are British Racing Green (you can fix that though, really!).

Anyway, with the Pegasus event now of the way (last weekend 20/10/07), http://www.bristolpegasus.com/files....ts.pdf)

both the Hayabusa and GSX-R1000 (ASWMC Sprint Champion 2007) cars are now clogging up garage space, with something new slowly growing in complexity and form, eating it up. They both need to go.

Many options are available, I'll split out the Hayabusa engine, sell you a rolling chassis, whatever, swap engines around.

Both cars are road-going, factory spec. (ignoring the GSX-R1000 engine choice in one of them), Image rims, alloy uprights, 4-pots, have reverse boxes, etc., etc., all sitting idle while I discover the new joy of racing motorcycles....

The 815cc turbine engine choice isn't available now, but that didn't seem a viable choice by any of the enquirers so I hope that doesn't put anybody off.

A quick update for those who are still indicating interest in my Westfield(s) and things related.  The ASWMC 2007 Championship car (the Orange Megaturbine) is now no longer available (her new owner has some exotic plans), as are the engines: GSXR 750cc and 998cc Mistral units, along with the standard 998cc unit. Most of my spares have gone too, much garage space has been liberated for other things, some BEC propshafts and one reverse box (WF rebuilt) definitely remain, but more anon.

The MegaBusa (today with fresh MoT) is facing a variety of destinies, as yet unconfirmed.  Again, more anon, but please, definitely no more enquiries just yet.

My thanks

Grahame (who can now see some garage floor!!!)

Delivered L7 ERG to her new custodian last weekend, so a tad sad, but at least I can now get into the garage....

Must control myself though, always fancied a Jedi, deep breath, no, no no.... make more space first...

Hows the bags under your eyes mate.  Cheers for putting yourself out.  What time did you get back.

Really happy with the car, really looking forward to the conversion

A quick update, just in case anyone is in need (you never know)....

The Hayabusa engine has left the car, along with all its ancillaries and fitments. Not what I had planned, but there you go.... it's a fantastic engine package that it's new owner will (undoubtably) scare himself with.

So what's left?

Well, I'm now fitting all the ex-Orange car GSXR1000 (standard) paraphenalia into the MegaBusa (a 2002  low mileage factory 'Mega'-spec. yellow thing, MoT'd, etc.).  If anyone is interested in this car (current state or when complete), let me know. Compared with the 'usual' cars out there, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised if you get in touch.

No timewasters or dreamers please, but those with 7.5T Transporters/Campers and/or Jedi's and/or Sidecars for sale are welcome to haggle over a P/X.

Anybody out there??????????????????????????
Posted

I am indeed out there, or should I say in there, or somewhere. Actually, I'm in the garage, slipping the GSXR1000 into the car. I don't tend to spend a lot of time on-line (especially when I'm on annual leave from work) my humble apologies.

I'm chatting to a guy with a Suzuki-Windle Outfit and an Iveco 7.5, so again, my apologies. Pretty much made up my mind that this is something I want to try before I die... (like building that pulsejet last year) something different. He's coming down next weekend, so the Westfield will be back together by then. I'll let you know what happens.

My regards,

Grahame
