Trim covers at base of RAC roll bar on FW bodywork

Has anyone experience of fitting these covers, there is two halves to each cover.

I think they need trimming to shape before fitting.

Is it best to retain them using self tappers, or something like sikaflex possibly what do you think.

I have had to trim the front edge as my seats are right back against the back panel.

Could be a problem with Sikaflex if you need to get the covers off in the future.

I am going to use dome headed M5 bolts into an ally fitting which sits in the bodywork that I got from Westfield. Probably put a small amount of black silicone under the cover as a support.

Just struggling to get the boot box lid fitted as it seems to be a different shape to the opening
