Gents

At what point do we actually get our reg plates, i am booked for sva on 17 august........... if it passes what do i do?

apart from jump with joy!!!

Contact your local DVLA office, details on the website. the exact rules vary with each office.. but basically you fill in loads of paperwork, include copies of all your receipts etc. A letter of newness from WF (only able to supply after you pass SVA). Then a DVLA bod or police officer will have to check over your car again.. basically check it is infact a car!  :D  and engine number etc..  ;)  

Eventually you'll get your registration documents back from DVLA with a form so you can go get your plates made up, inform you insurance company of completition and reg, then try not to wrap it around a lamp post  :t-up:

And that's it for 3 years... until your first MOT..  :t-up:    :down:    :suspect:    :p
