Don't laugh !

I quite fancy the idea of upgrading the screen in my accord to be able pick up and show TV an maybe use the built in DVD for DVD's rather than just the map disk.

The reason, because I'm bored tonight and why not !  Also I have had a few glasses of Red !

Does any one know of companies who do this as a quick Google has not shown anything up.

I'll also want to know how to make it work for when I'm sat in trafic lights rather than when fully stationary

cheers

Rob,

Am i right in thinking the Accord has a Double DIN head unit?

If so, you are limited in choice....Some examples here

You might be better converting to a single DIN unit with decent DVD, CD, FM and SatNav facilities and adding this..CLICKY

Or convert to a single DIN and fit this

Neither a recognised brand !

You may be able to fit this to your Honda unit?

Either way, you may loose the facilty of the Honda's stereo controls.

Thanks Pete I will call Julian and have a chat.

Fish no idea what a double DIN is is.  It the standard in built sat nav screen with the DVD built in near the gear stick.

The last of the options was what I was thinking off to be honnest, but I would be keen to keep the CD and radio control on the wheel.

Single DIN = normal CD/FM type stereo

Double DIN = twice the size of above.

Double DIN mainly used in Japanese cars. :arse:
