rm163603 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 We're working on a mould right now for a direct replacement of the OEM fake carbon abs stone chip guards but this will be in conventional carbon fibre not the fancy rubbery stuff we sell at the moment as stone chip guards because that can't be moulded in the same way. This means you can have a fully moulded real carbon set (but that will be susceptable to stone chips!) or flat guards that won't. --Matt I'd be interested in genuine carbon rear stone guards... Quote

Rob Navin Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I Think that Dereks front wing was the orginal off Mark Smiths car which Richard Carroll now runs cos' Richard has now got a front wing similar to Austens (R5WST) in the picture before(which is similar to what Rob Navin used to run) if its any help! Buzz Close Buzz. It was actually a design by Guy Gibbson that he ran on Westy's car. Mick made did a mold from them and still does them I believe! HTH Rob Quote
Rob Navin Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 BTW is there any way I can get a carbon foot print ? I'm size 12 feet but I have been told I need to reduce this ! Quote
nikpro Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 CSR wings and boot panel just arrived - fantastic quality; can't wait till I get back from Spa next week to get them fitted!! Thanks to Carbon Mods for this bulk buy Quote
Evo,s 7SE Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 csr wheel arches arrived and fitted cheers show us some pics then Quote
CarbonMods Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Glad you liked 'em guys. Me and the boy wonder slave long into the night to eeck out a living and if poeple like what we do then it makes it all worthwhile! Those who are eagerly awaiting their slightly narrower CSRs should be receiving them very soon, hopefully at the start of next week. Normally we get things out much quicker but they were a custom mould so we're just catching up. The dashes are coming along very nicely, should be releasing something off the mould tomorow if all goes well which will mean we could have product out by next week. I should certainly be able to get some photos up on our site by Sunday. We're also adding an aero screen to our catalogue, should be getting product off that by the weekend too. Hope so or some poor mate of Higgsi's is gonna have a lot of flies in his face on the way to Anglesey next weekend! When you take your pics don't forget to email some high res ones over to us so we can stick them on our site (especially after all the comments about Joe's westy not being propper!!). Quote
lukeyboy Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Does anyone have a nice set of piccies of the traditional large cycle wings yet on 15"'s? The wings on mine seem to be a much closer fit to the wheel than the blue one on the web site Also, just noticed the flexible carbon mudflap material on Carbon Mods too. Have you thought about doing some standard flaps and attachments for the cycle wings? Westy's only need a couple of flaps not a big roll!!!! Quote
CarbonMods Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Lukeyboy, what wheels/tyres are you running? - Joe's westy in the pic was running (now replaced) 13" wheels and narrow 175 tyres. The large wings dwarfed his wheels, we just put them on to give an idea of scale. The large wings are for 15" wheels and ideally, wider tyres. If you're running 15" then they should have the right gap. If you're running 13" then you need to go for the small wings. I'd be happy to do the mudflap material at any size you want, we make it is square meters but can cut it to any size. To get an idea of price just half, quater or whatever the price and then add a fiver for hassle ;-) Quote
JeffC Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 csr wheel arches arrived and fitted cheers show us some pics then on the case now Quote
Bean Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 They do look nice. Quick question, what are the CSR style wings like I've heard mentioned? Are there any pictures of these wings on a seven running 13" wheels. Quote
