after several people asking about a bulk buy with carbon mods and my own purchases from them which have proved to be excellent quality items not just my opinion but that of other wscc members i have approached carbon mods in order to set up a bulk buy and here is mats response .for those who would like to benefit from this please put your name down here first and once we have numbers i will contact them again to sort out how carbon mods would like to fulfil the orders

Yes, we’d certainly be interested in doing a bulk buy on cycle wings.  I don’t know what level of demand is out there but I’d be happy to do the following prices for the WSCC forum at the following levels:

I’d be happy to make the group buy span all of our cycle wings styles, i.e. if you could get 5 people who all want a set of cycle wings (no matter which style) they’d be discounted by 10%, if you got 10 people, no matter which style (i.e. 5 CSR, 2 modern, and 3 track wings) then they’d all be 20% off.  I’m sure people on the forum will realise that we’ve already got really low prices especially for a spot-on product and so this is a hell of a deal!

To make it even better, anyone ordering a set of wings can have anything else we do at the same discount level (so if you get 10 people, they can have 20% off anything else we do too!).

I'm interested in a pair of large traditional cycle wings for 15" wheels, but I wouldn't mind seeing a pic of them on a car. I'm interested only if they are a close fit, as I don't like the look of the oversized ones  

Also would like them in the road resist gel coat.

few pics when they were fitted used rivnuts not sure if the angle i have them give best downforce?.saddleworth who thought of the idea first has his steeper.mine are the large bumper cannards

One of our local customers should be getting his car back from SVA this afternoon. He's built the single doner Mazda based Westy and so we're going to go round and fit various sets of wings to his car (he's handilly got two sets of wheels and tyres too) with the intention of getting some good photos of the wings fitted (that is unless it pees it down all day!). If we get the photos done I'll upload them to a gallery.

The 'road resist' isn't a gel-coat by the way, it's a whole different manufacturing process.  We actually laminate an impact absorbing core into the wing (and sometimes Kevlar) so that impact on the inside of the wing (where the stone chips come from) is absorbed by the core and not passed through to the carbon skin.  No matter what the gel-coat was, it couldn't achieve that!

The large traditional wings aren't a close fit to 15" wheels, they're the standard Caterham fit (which is pretty loose) so I wouldn't reccommend them lukeyboy if you're after a tight fit.  The modern wings would be MUCH better for a tight fit on 15" wheels (check out the diameter in the sizing chart). The modern wings were designed and sold specificaly to look right on a Westfield.
