Welding help for exhaust

My silencer had come apart at the front of the silencer box where it attaches to the manifold pipe. It's a standard Westfield repackable Megablade jobbie.

I really wanted to be up and going for this Sunday so was looking for some advice and help.

Firstly from the piccie below would this be ok to be rewelded up and if so is there anyone who might be able to do it on Saturday if I paid a visit for some beer tokens? I live in Northolt in West London/Middlesex.

PS Not looking for a long term fix (although longer the better!) just to get me up and running again.

Looks nasty...

There are a couple of fabby places off the 312 in Hayes, just north of Pump Lane. I've had a couple of bits done there before, but I couldn't tell you the name of the place. Have a cruise down Chesterfield Way.

Or there's a place in Hanwell. Again no idea of the name, but it's just off Trumpers Way, in the River Brent Business Park.

Whereabouts in Northolt are you?

Cheers for that. Very useful info.

I'm just off the Target Roundabout near Northolt Village

North of the 40 I assume?

Yep up near Islip Manor. Just moved into a bungalow there about a month ago. Used to be in Greenford on the Ruislip Road.

Hi William

Pop into your local MOT station and ask them if they know any welders they can recommend. Otherwise drive round a few of your local established (not the new shiny ones) industrial estates, there will be few hidden away in there.

Good luck

Cheers

David

P.S. glad to see I'm not the only one needing emergency exhaust welding      mine broke Sunday, got it welded Monday, Back on yesterday and have trackday on Friday :t-up:  :t-up:

Edited to say:- just took mine out for a test drive and the manifold on other side has split                :arse:  :arse:  :arse:  :arse:

If it's stainless you'll need someone with TiG welding.

If you fancy popping over here I'l do it for you  :D

Well I popped down to Surrey Welding Ltd on the Warnford Industrial Estate in Hayes.

Nice chap I spoke to yesterday and the guy this morning said he thought he could reweld it and would have a go on Monday. (They were pretty busy which I guess is always a good sign!)

So doesn't look like I'll be up and running this weekend unfortunately unless I can come up with some workaround but hey ho.

Thanks everyone for the help and advice.
