pistonbroke Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 I've seen him live....utterly fantastic Is he an Aussie ? Love the way he gets all those sound effects Went to a John Williams concert years back , in Mancy Land , that was an education , a complete master of the guitar (classical that is) Also saw Segovia the man who taught Williams to play , he was 80 years old but could still light the guitar up . I love accoustic guitar , If I could play the thing half as good as those guys I'd be over the moon Quote

The Great Fandango Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Hmmm?... I'm not quite up to that standard just yet. I must say that for anyone just starting off with guitar playing then there is one absolutely fantastic website run by a chap called Justin Sandercoe. Here's the link :- Justin Sandercoe - Free Guitar Lessons There's loads of literature, tips, and the best bit for me is the videos (most of which are hosted on YouTube) Some of the videos are hard to find linked from his website so why not just type in "Sandercoe" in YouTube. You'll be playing loads of songs in no time... My particular favourite is "All Along The Watchtower" Quote
peter pan Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 My mate saw this and said his name must be Tommy Emmanuel Billy no mates, since any normal person would use a backing band, to get the same sound, But no! this bloke has to do it all on his own Quote
