Derby Allen Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Bit Cheeky I know, but does anyone have a Corner weight Gauge i can borrow, I am in the South yorkshire area, I just want to check my setup before doing a few track days that are booked, It just seems a bot pointless to buy one only to use the once, Beer tokens on offer. markboyce Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 If you don't have any luck borrowing a gauge you could always go the pikey bathroom scale route. Argos sell them for £2.99 each. You will need 8 scales to take the weight but with 2 under each wheel and a piece of wood between them to spread the load you can get yourself a setup that works for £23.99 The scales wont take the weight of you driving the car onto them so you have to lower it off a jack but for checking corner weights they work very well. My old car was within 8kgs of Playskools scales as a total weight, so it is hard to question the accuracy. clicky Cheers Mark
