TrevorC Posted July 9, 2007 Share Posted July 9, 2007 The decision has been made to sell my Westfield; I have decided that it is in too nice a condition to use on trackdays/WSCC and would be gutted if I damaged it. I have only competed in one sprint last year (Croft) and one sprint (Croft again) and one hillclimb (Harewood) this year. I am simply not getting the use out of it and pressures of business mean that I may not get to use it on the road again this year. I have decided for next year to buy a trackday dedicated Westfield, and then I will not be too gentle with it!!!! This car has been little used in its life -- I acquired it in Sept 2003, MOTs since then show:- July 2004 2551 miles July 2005 3347 miles July 2006 4107 miles Today 4327 miles Spec as follows:- SEW built and registered in July 2001 on a Q plate, originally fitted with a CVH - I changed this for a brand new (97 spec) Ford Service engine at 2800 miles MOT runs out on 16th July so will be sold with a full 12 Months MOT Ford 1.8 Zetec engine Kent fast road cams ARP Conrod Bolts Westfield Shallow Sump Westfield trackday exhaust silencer - 92dB(A) @ 4000rpm Twin Dellorto 40 Carbs currently fitted although I do have a set of 45s that I was going to fit (at extra cost) Facet Red Top Fuel Pump Megajolt adjustable engine management system Rebuilt Ford Type 9 5-speed gearbox AP Racing Clutch fitted <50miles Omex sequential shift lights Protech Shockers all round (fronts rose-jointed) Toyo Proxes Fully carpeted interior Westfield Sports Seats RAC Roll Bar (Boot box still fitted) 2.4 litre Fire Extinguisher Full weather gear (side screens and hood) Ducted nose As I said this car is in beautiful condition finished in the rare Canary Yellow (a lighter shade than the ubiquitous Chrome Yellow) Reduced to £8000 (I want to do a deal for Slippy'c car) For any further info call me on 07724 320447 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
