If I were you I'd keep them, you'll only get 1/2 money 2nd hand at most No plans for them biglad, not sure they would last 20 minutes on track, they are like chewing gum want to use the rims for slicks next week hopefully at cadwell suppose I could always keep them till next year and join you boys in H
V 8 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 [not sure they would last 20 minutes on track, they are like chewing gum Not quite the same with wets Jeff. a) you won't use them as much b) you wont rag them as much....the grip isn't there c) The tyres don't get anywhere near the same temperature (which is what kills them), as the water cools them Hang on to them, you'll kick yourself when you do a trackday and need them
peterg Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Tommo, if they're what I think they are, they wouldn't last 20 minutes on track 'cos they're grippier than snot to a blanket

JeffC Posted July 6, 2007 Author Posted July 6, 2007 Jeff you have PM Peter cheers. Yes Im sure Terry said they were super soft slicks that he had cut for wets, he hant used them by the look of it , bl**** work of art for a guy with a tyre cutter they are extremely soft and I can imagine the grip will be impressive , sure Terry will clarify Ive allready got a set of Formula renault wets on image rims and I need these rims as Ive just took delivery of some big fooockoff wide Formula renault rear slicks and all my image rims are only 7" wide and I think these cxr"s rears are 8 1/2" or there abouts so will do the job just fine
V 8 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Tommo, if they're what I think they are, they wouldn't last 20 minutes on track 'cos they're grippier than snot to a blanket You obviously want to buy them I assume
