slippy Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Good BJ's go for a bag of sand minimum eBay it they normally fetch the going rate Quote
higgsti Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 phone indispension up for a price on that spec then knock the vat of if you felling generous thats your price id say 2/2.5k new Quote
ChrisG Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Probably a couple of grand new that one seeing as its a tilt bed, so you should get £1500 for it easy. I got £800 for a ~15 year old non galvanised Brian James, probably cost less than that when it was originally bought new! Quote
samcooke Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 QUOTE I got £800 for a ~15 year old non galvanised Brian James, probably cost less than that when it was originally bought new! Pah. I got £1100 for the same. Mind you, it did have £10 worth of brand new hammerite on it. I agree - hydraulic tilt and full size by the looks, so at least fifteen, more like £1700 on the bay. Quote
Glen H Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I'm guessing that Scooby's asking what its worth paying for it from his contacts at his local Citreon dealer - not selling it Quote
scooby Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 many thanks, i think i will be buying it for my own use for a while. Just needed to know going value Quote
jeff oakley Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 You want to check what it weighs and what it will weigh loaded. that looks a heavy trailer if it is steel. Depending what you want it for i.e just for the Aeon, you might be better to buy it cheap stick it on ebay and buy a lighter weight one. Quote
scooby Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 I will check the weigths and report back to you Quote
peterg Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 QUOTE Is it definately a tilt bed Oh yes, that's what the thing that looks like a bottle jack is for... Quote

I know you did ya git, yours was identical to mine apart from mine didnt have a wheel rack, mine did have new Hammerite and new (£50 worth) of decking though! TBH I think you stumbled across a numptie buyer even by Ebay standards there as you can pick up much newer / equally specced Brian James' for £1100, you could get a basic new one for not much more.
