Ian Podmore Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Wow, what a fantastic offer for newbie / possible sprinters! It looks to have every base covered to get someone started and really show them the ropes! Quote
Mark Stanton Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 QUOTE Is the track available to everyone in the afternoon as previous years, or is it only for the virgins? After newbie session their will be track-time for all volunteers, marshals and SS drivers - anyone that helps out and puts something into making the weekend a success we hope to offer some track-time in return Anyone just wanting to come along and grab a freebie without helping out then there's only two chances - none and very slim QUOTE If you had done this a few years ago Mark Thanks I would like to take full credit - however this has involved The SS Organising Team and Mentors A long list of folks are pitching in Quote
MartinH Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 This sounds fantastic; is it first come, first served on the day? Paul No, it's first to register with Derek Hodder see opening post for e-mail address. Quote

GuyH Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 This is a great idea, and the equivalent event from the MAC Sprint school costs quite a lot. But just a warning, any of you who have signed up for this and have a national B non-race license, but have not posted an entry for the official sunday sprint event will be kicking yourselves come Sunday morning. Delboy Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 QUOTE But just a warning, any of you who have signed up for this and have a national B non-race license, but have not posted an entry for the official sunday sprint event will be kicking yourselves come Sunday morning. There is still time to get a license by express application and enter the Sunday sprint!! Quote

KerryS Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Thank you to the "professors" for their wisdom. I found the feedback on the two laps very useful, even if I was so anxious to get on track two of them didn't see me I tried to put the advice into practice in the afternoon, not altogether successfully tho' Quote
