Just hope your all not just going to tear lumps out of me ... but here goes ( and I do know where Blatchat is) I live very close to Curborough and have just bought my first c******m ( second hand, ex race car but now road legal) and wanted to make contact with anyone who is reasonably local and shares the fun of these types of cars and maybe wants to meet up. I really don't want to get into the pros and cons of different marques because I don't really care and am still not sure whether people are serious when they get into these debates. So if anyone is reasonably local and is happy to get together with a 'newbie' from the 'other side' let me know.

Well done Mike I for one don't give a **** which type of Se7en anyone owns we all can get on, but I am afraid I am some way from Lichfield (Curborough), but I do get to at least 2 Curborough sprints a year. Lets cut the bulls*** there is very little between the different types (once you forget the cost   )

My friends in the 7IG (the independant 7 club Germany) welcome all makes of seven type cars as well as Elise and Cobras and have a great time :cool:so why not here.

Hi Mike

I live in a village called Packington, near to Ashby-de-la-Zouch.  If you are ever in the area, there is a cold lager waiting.

I agree with you, who gives a flies fart what you drive.... this type of car is for big time fun!

Thanks guys

It's nice to know that there are plenty of enthusiasts out there and look forward to meeting up some time soon. Drove up to Demon Tweaks today to get sorted out with race gear etc and saw a few cars on the way and chatted to loads of people in the car park. Only had the car a couple of days and at the moment it's any excuse to drive it or chat with people. Popped out for petrol last night in the rain ( don't have a  hood or sidescreens) Only took me an hour and a half cos I went the scenic route :)

Anybody sprinting at Curborough tomorrow?

There's usually Westfields at Curborough most weekends  ;)  :D  :)

Make a note in your diary of Sunday 18 August for Curborough - that's the date of the RSSOC Sprint meet and it should be a large gathering of both RSSOC members cars and WSCC Speed Series Drivers  ;)  :)  :D

You are welcome to come along to a Derby/Notts area meeting. Next meeting Thursday 25th July, meet at the Old Crown, Shardlow. 1 min from the A50 junction (just past the new services on the A50 as you travel from the Toyota junction on the A38). I would think 25-30 mins at the most, depending on how far off the A38 you live.  Garry Bunn (AO) 07979907489
