Been with AF for 4 years now, the premium has never gone down and they have usually dropped a little of the cost if i say i have had better quotes.

New premium is £235 with 3k limited mileage and guaranteed £9000 payout on total loss, full euro breakdown cover. £200 excess

I am 34 years old with clean A*** i mean license

Has anyone recenlty or in the past changed from these guys to another ??

I phoned up footman james when my renewal came through and they managed to get it over £100 cheaper.  Contacted flux and they beat the price for me.  Just goes to show if you don't enquire about the price they will continue to rip you off!

Flaming heck those are cheaper than I thought!

I'm with AON and that costs £515 for 5000 miles limited but includes up to 6 track days a year and is covered for me (27) my wife (30) and my sister (25) had only just renewed for a year when then bought westie so will call around when insurance up to see because would cost me too much in cancellation charges to be worth swaping I guessed.

I am currently with Adrian Flux paying £275 limited to 5K miles for car value of £5500. I just got a quote from Footman James for exactly the same and they gave me a price of £493. Thats a whopping £218 difference I think I am gonna be staying with AF.

I had a mare with my insurance this year mainly becaues I wanted agreed value which seemed impossible with the theft claim for my Pinto powered Westy 3 years ago.

Footman James who I'd been with up to this year were hopeless, calls not returned details not logged ect, It was the same story with dealing with the Pinto theft claim.

Utterly hopeless, they did the minimun, gave poor advice (said I should accept the first offer) and lost documents I passed onto them.

It was the same when sorting out the aftermarth of being rear ended in the Westy last year, they really did'nt seem to give a damn and I ended up sorting most of it myself.

I changed to Adrian Flux this year as they were the only company who brokered with a company called "Kinetic"

These guys offered an agreed value policy despite the total loss on the Pinto powered car, 5K miles, euro break down and legal cover.

They beat FJ by £60 for another 2000 miles, euro breakdown cover, agreed value and only £50 excess (FJ was £100)

The cost was £123, fully comp.

So far Flux has done everything I've asked, answered questions promptly and accruatly and been timely with their paperwork.

I would'nt recommend FJ (I know they are a SS sponsor and the factory's prefered insurer ect) from my own experience with them.

Chaz.

I'm with Footman James ATM, but I'll be giving Adrian Flux a call next month, when the renewal is due.

Im with AF but they have been a right :arse:  with the motorhome insurance. I needed it quickly to pick the van up then got a cheaper quote off Chaucer who I used to insure the Westy with so might look at a bulk buy with chaucer next year :D

Yep, another one with Sureterm.

Old fart (47 yesterday), SEi Std w/ 1.6 CVH + twin Webers, £6K value, no other drivers, clean license, 3K per year mileage = £130 per year.  Very effecient, but in fairness, never claimed on them, either, so don't know what they'd be like in a jam...  :suspect:

I am 26 and was previously with Flux, my renewal came through at £286, I rang around and found that MSM were the cheapest for me and came in with £165 comprehensive with legal cover and £100 XS. They were really easy to deal with too.
