Zetec Loom for SVA

Recommended Posts

Afternoon all, just need a bit of advice from those out there with Zetec 1800's.  Just got mine back from a pre-SVA check from WF, with a list of things to do.....as well the normal things like covering nuts and edges etc, I was told to re-route the the cables to the alternator and starter motor. At the mo I have them covererd in flexible tubing coming from the loom which is attached to the top chasis rail on the drivers side directly to the rear of the two units. Anyone got any pics/drawings showing how they should be routed? Also have to tidy up the routing of the oil pressure sender cable...any idea's anyone? Thanks in advance!

I've just checked my pictures and I've nothing to really show how I've routed mine, and unfortunately I don't have my camera with me today....

From memory I just ran the wires for both along the top chasis rail as far as poss, then out to the connections as you say covered in convoluted pipe?

Same probably goes for Oil pressure sender?

I'll try and get some photos another night if no one else can help..   :)
