Jan Coombes Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 It's the London Marathon this Sunday, and I'm doing it. I'm running for Essex Air Ambulance and doing it in a flight suit and helmet. (I hope it's not a hot day) I've been in a few local papers (the Essex Chronicle tomorrow) & the BBC want to interview me on the day, so if the tv's on... This is what I'll be running in Just for fun I made a few videos of my training. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P1VU2-ek3g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....search= Quote

Jan Coombes Posted April 21, 2007 Author Posted April 21, 2007 Thanks guys, yep the weather is a issue, it gets a bit warm in the all the gear, but not a lot I can do about it now. I've been getting lots of media coverage, I was on LBC yesterday and SGR, Essex FM & Dream 100 this weekend, plus papers etc maybe Angla News and the BBC called me about trying to get an interview on the way round. It all helps to spread the word. It's funny it's really made me look at my life. Thanks for all your support and I'll see all at Stoneleigh, if I can walk by then. Can I expect a Hero's welcome ha ha Quote
