greenandmean Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Just got back from marshaling at Harewood, despite being a marshal there for 31 years, today for the first time I went on the startline.I don't work that hard Mon/Fri all i can say to those who do it regularly and i know Reaper is one of them up at Croft, is RESPECT guys & gals. It don't look that hard when sat in the car but boy have I learned differant today. Quote

I was hot enough waiting in the car with overalls etc on so gawd only knows what its like when working on the startline. Still, it's always good to see Mr Goldie working up a sweat. What was it....."When the caravan's a rockin', don't come knockin'"??! Here's a video of one of my runs. Had a good little battle with Mr Hoyle Not sure if the track was still 'green' or our driving was crap but we were both well off the pace. There was much discussion over whether the track is past it's best compared to ~ 18 months ago? Quote
