So I called MNR on 'good saturday 7th' & spoke to Chris who was busy packing a swedish order involving 2 car kits into one swedish van I think!

I told him I needed 2 front protech shocks with spherical bearings, 7/16ths, 12 1/2 inch open (if my existing springs would fit (I've got both 8 & 9")) & that I had a bit of deadline because I have the car booked in for geometry setup at Dave Pillinger's on Wednesday 19th.

Chris says 'no problem, I can sort it out on Tuesday, send me an email detailing what we've discussed' & gives me an excellent price.

Tuesday 10th. I send Chris an email, asking whether my springs will fit, how to pay & if I can pick them up from protech 'cos I live close by.

He emails back later on having been in touch with protech & says the 8" springs will fit & to give him a call... 'send me a cheque, I'll trust you, pick them up from Protech tomorrow, anytime after lunch'  :0

Went to Protech this morning (missed them last night) spent about an hour there chatting to Rod and having the full guided tour of the assembly process, all the gubbings that are inside my shiny new shocks & checking out the somewhat pricier remote resevoir jobbys and double adjustables

So, thank you Chris at MNR & Rod at Protech! What a great way to do business, who says british customer service sucks?

Cheers,

Paul.

ps I haven't got shares or whatever it is I s'posed to write here!  :p

I can second the recommendation of MNR, they were great to deal with and had no problems and all with a great price too!

Not connected with MNR just a happy customer!

Cheers

Kevin
