mark.anson Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 As it says. Race fuel tank, preferably 2 gallon, suitable for fuel injection.
Major Stare Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Has a road going fuel tank that needs to be at least 1/2 full to stop fuel starvation.
mark.anson Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 Road days finished then Mark? Pretty well Scott. I did about 40 road miles last year in total and most of those were to test brakes etc. I did have exceptional personal circumstances too of course, but even before then I didnt use it much on the road. Like Jon says, Im getting fuel satrvation with the road tank, unless I run at least quarter to half a tank of fuel.
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Use a plastic go kart tank Nice and light and narrow
mark.anson Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 Use a plastic go kart tank Nice and light and narrow Would one of these be legal for a road going car John? Cant think why not but the scrutes at Croft mentioned about haveing a vented filler etc!! Cheers Andy for the link BTW
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I dont see why not. Some production cars have them dont they? I also know someone who is already using one...
