Hi Folks

Sorry if i'm being stupid here but if you are running in a road modified class do you have to have a windscreen. I thought i read you did in the blue book but cant seem to find it now.

Thank Gavin.

I *think*...

WSCC SS A-D requires a windscreen.

E onwards doesn't.

[edit]...though on 2nd thoughts maybe you're not just referring to WSCC classes...[/edit]

"Generally" classes complying with blue book "Road-going production" should have a windscreen, classes comlying with "Production modified" can run without, but you'll have to check the regs for each championship you run in... I've been having a look around and there's not many championships that have a road-going production class which allows kitcars... they generally get lumped in with production modified (1B tyres etc).

That is one of the good things about the WSCC speed series -there is a roadgoing production class that we can run in.

The HSA has a championship which allows kitcars in its "road-going production" class, but they do allow you to run without a windscreen (subject to clarification which I haven't yet received....).... so again, the only way to be absolutley sure is check with the championship regs/organisers... and then they're not always that clear.....
