Hi all,

Just a quick note to say that I've just made gentleman's agreement on a Westie that's soon to be living in my garage.

This will be my second westie and on the way home in the tintop today i couldn't wipe the smile off my face despite the four and a half hour drive to get back.

Not sure if many of you remember but I only had my last one for six weeks when one unfortunate evening it was destroyed in a fire my last car

I've kept quiet over the last year and a half since then but now that I'm beginning to feel a bit more like a real member again i'm gonna have to join in.

Just so you know, i'm buying an SEIW, 1800 xflow, cosmetically not exactly to my spec but I'm chuffed to bits with the spec of the engine (and this one has a fire extinguisher), the budget I originally planned had to be cut back slightly due to a summer project I should be getting very soon which will give me the chance to blat even in the snow when the westie is locked away in the winter.

I've already come down with a case of upgraditis, involving carbon fibre, cycle wings & aeroscreens but I hope I can hold out and enjoy her in her current form until the winter so I can get the other toy into tip top condition for then.

I'll post some pics when I get them uploaded for you all to see.

Cheers,

Steve :t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:  :D  :D  :D
