chazpowerslide Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Isis, my 7 year old daughter, is learning all about different types of graph as school at the moment and during my 40th birthday supper this evening she spotted the dyno plot I got from Emerald (after my recent session on their rollers) on the kitchen table. Being a bright kid and very inquisitive she asked if she she could have a look at it and asked me to explain it to her. As is the norm, the BHP is on the vertical axis and the RPM (in this case 2500 to 6500) on the horizontal axis. I was just explaining the BHP figures on the vertical axis when Isis, allways keen to show her understanding by leaping ahead a bit, runs her left index finger along the horizontal axis from 2500 to 6000 and follows the power curve up with her right index finger and then breaks in on me and says; "So if your engine makes 155 horses it must have cost £6000" Mrs 'Slide is then heard no mutter "Yeah, pretty much" Needless to say I nearly dropped by birthday beer due to laughing so much Chaz.
