KerryS Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Can anyone advise me of the difference between the S&DCC "Introduction to Sprinting" and the MAC "Sprint School" that are held at Curborough? TIA Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 When I did the "intro" course many years ago you only got about four laps of Curborough, I imagine on the school thingy you'll get far more laps in Quote

I got at least a dozen laps in last Tuesday. Looks like it's the "school" I would want then. Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 The intro was free and anybody could turn up and have a go, I imagine the schoolly bit is a pay job so you would expect more track time Quote
Howard Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Kerry? what's all this then? It was only a matter of time I suppose. Promise me you don't start ripping your meticulous build apart in the search for more speed that would be such a shame Quote

Ian Podmore Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 And the trailer that was purchased recently..... And the upgrade to TB's...... All becomes clear! Quote
WebAdmin2 Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 saw him talking to mickmade as well...... Quote
KerryS Posted March 16, 2007 Author Posted March 16, 2007 Yeah? I said "Hello Mick" He said "Hi!" Quote
davidgh Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 MAC School is a pay job -- £125 per person IIRC when Guy/I did it. You get eight laps in the day, four in the morning with cones to keep you on line, four in the afternoon without. Three serious sprint instructors are positioned round the course (at the "left-right", in the Molehill, and at Fradley Hairpin) and come to give you (fairly brutal) feedback every two runs. Lunch is in the price, if that's a key consideration. HTH Quote
KerryS Posted March 16, 2007 Author Posted March 16, 2007 Yes that about agrees with what I was told on the phone today, David, apart from the bit about being brutal Quote
Major Stare Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 And the trailer that was purchased recently..... And the upgrade to TB's...... All becomes clear! And the fact he bumped the car resulting in a new tub and rebuild... thus upgrades like going lighter ! Quote
Asterix Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Yeah? I said "Hello Mick" He said "Hi!" code for, I said "I'd like carbon aero widetrack, full carbon interior bodypanel kit, carbon body and carbon engine". He said, "Ok". Quote

And then Jan said "Do what the f**k you want"! But it did n't mean what he thought it did, when Kerry told her the cost!!! Quote
