steppenwolf Posted July 3, 2002 Posted July 3, 2002 I'm going ..... my son has won Grandstand tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I'm joining him for the qualifying and race days. I'd be the first to agree that F1 ain't what it used to be with its processional tendencies, last second cheating (Boo Schuey...) and predictable outcomes but then there was Monaco ..... I think that watching it on television is obviously better from a 'viewing' point of view but I am looking forward to the atmosphere - the smell of burning rubber (ooh err missus), the oil in the air, the pitter patter of rain, the schlurrg of mud on my feet, the doughnuts, the full English Breakfast and the chance to shoot Louise Goodman with my pea shooter. Yup, I'm going and can't wait! Quote

But I am going to 'rough it' and have breakfast in a Little Chef! Weather is not looking too good so it looks like tin-tops which is not what we had hoped for. Now, what shall I wear, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green or Silver? Well obviously not red as there is no point in supporting the cheats favourite so I guess it will be the Silver! Quote
