Norman Verona Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I need a big favour. Against my better judgement I've sent my 2 damaged wheels back to Superlite for new rims. I've been ringing every day, 6-8 time a day for the past 3 days to find out progress. All I get is the answer machine and, of course, he doesn't ring back. He said before I sent them back that he could turn them round in a few days. I need them sending to Arch in Huntingdon in the next 7 days so they can be brought over here with the chassis and all the other bits. So, could someone nearby pop in during the week and see whats happening. Thanks in advance. Quote
richardzetec Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Hi I live fairly near to Norton, Gloucester. 10km. Do you have more details, address and phone number, as I do not see them in the phone book. Regards Richard Quote

Norman Verona Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Richard, The address is: Superlite Unit 4 Barn Farm Norton Gloucester GL2 9LH Please don't go out of the way but if you do go past and can pop in to find out whats happening I would be obliged. He'll probably tell you they haven't arrived yet, he's that sort. I guess they don't answer the phone because it's almost certainly a complaint. Thanks, Quote

Norman Verona Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 You won't believe this but the bigger supermarkets have an English shelf with things like baked beans & Worcestershire sause! The cheese counters havd a wide range of Framage from everywhere. We keep away from it all, we came to live in France so we'll eat and live French. Chris, I'll ring them in the morning, well to be accurate I'll ask HM to ring them them first thing in the morning as I'll be out sand blasting. Thanks. Quote
Norman Verona Posted February 26, 2007 Author Posted February 26, 2007 Rang the sauce company, geuss what - an answering machine! BUT. Henry has now rung back and says the wheels aren't there but he's got a parcel to collect Rings back after lunch. He's now got the wheels and reckons they'll be done by Wednesday I don't believe it but you never know Thanks everyone Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 So they've moved onwards and upwards since their days in a pokey little shop down a back street when I dealt with them a few years ago. If you think dealing with henry is bad, try dealing with karen the daughter! Quote
