jak Posted February 14, 2007 Author Posted February 14, 2007 All music is subjective either you like or you don't but I think most people would agree Liam Gallacher needs TW*TING Agreed, but what a bunch of ******s. Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 No taste you lot. During the war.................. I'm with you Spence Oasis very cool. I went to see Paul Weller in concert some years ago and Noel G. was his special guest and did an acoustic set. Two of my biggest music heroes in one night bl**dy fantastic. Seeing Oasis play tonight makes me even more determined to see them live along with the Red Hot Chile Peppers. Quote
ChrisF Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Oasis music is okay...it's Liam Gallagher's swagger / attitude that gets me, he really puts it on and it just makes him look like a plonker who need a good slap Quote
slippy Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Seen Oasis live a few times and they don't disappoint, I can understand how the 'older' generation claim they copied the beatles etc Quote
stu999 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Seeing Oasis play tonight makes me even more determined to see them live along with the Red Hot Chile Peppers. Seen them both live. TBH Liam managed to spoil the gig for me then! Chilies were superb Another band I have seen live (and they won an award tonight) is Muse. Absolute class. Their music isnt exactly easy listening, but once you have made sense of the complicated melodies, there is nothing like it IMHO Quote
sir camel toe Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 oasis are f***ing top live seen them many times never dissapoint. as for liams swagger mosts of mancs like him do it ian brown springs to mind. Quote
Barry Ashcroft Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Can just tollerate Noel but Liam is a full on Tw@t. Saw the Chillies at The Millenium a few years ago absolutely awesome night even had James Brown as the support act got hammered as well Quote
Emma Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 The Brits was great. Blokes don't seem to "get" Russell Brand at all, I thought he was quite funny. Oasis were good, but Liam kinda ruined it, looked like he couldnt be arsed being there, and sounded worse!!! Noel is cool though!! And you cant all say you haven't sung along to Wonderwall after too many bevvies!!! Chilli Peppers were amazing, soooooo cool!!! Lots of great bands, Muse are fantastic, Killers got 2 awards which were deserved, not so sure about Amy Winehouse, and Joss Stone appears to have gone nuts!!! Brit music is fantastic at the mo!!! Love it!!!! Someone is going to come along now and tell me how much better it was in't olden days!!!! Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Someone is going to come along now and tell me how much better it was in't olden days!!!! Nope some great music about at the moment. Quote
david.c Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Blokes don't seem to "get" Russell Brand at all, I thought he was quite funny. You must be his fan ..................I didn't think he had any apart from himself. I can honestly say you are the only person I have heard talk about him without using the words 'pr**k', 'kn*b', 'idiot', 'wan**r' (you get the idea) and that covers male & female and a wide range of ages. David Quote
steve_m Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 I was surprised that Lily Allen didn't win, she's head and shoulders above the rest, great first album and a bit of a looker too which makes a change these days Quote
